Holistic AI is proud to share news of our partnership with industry-leading talent intelligence solution platform Bryq.
As part of the ongoing collaboration, Holistic AI have supplied Bryq with an independent third-party audit of their AI systems in line with New York City’s (NYC) Local Law 144 (“NYC Bias Audit” legislation).
Commencing 5 July 2023, Local Law 144 prohibits New York-based enterprises from deploying automated employment decision tools (AEDTs) without undergoing an annual assessment for bias.
Non-compliance penalties begin at $500 for the initial violation and can increase up to $1500 for subsequent violations, while failure to conduct and signpost a bias audit are considered separate violations under the legislation.
The Audit has positively impacted Bryq's go-to-market strategy by enhancing their reputation, providing a competitive advantage, and aligning them with market needs.
Holistic AI's solution also supplied Bryq, whose talent assessment and solutions platform is powered by AI, with a Summary of Results and supplementary materials to ensure future compliance.
The company continues to receive updates on legislative changes and guidance around AI best practices under the Ongoing Assurance stage of the Audit process.
Bryq are the latest in a growing list of blue-chip organisations that Holistic AI has helped Law 144's introduction.
