Large Multimodal Model (LMM)

LMMs, or Large Multimodal Models, are characterized by the integration of extra modalities into Large Language Models (LLM). The effectiveness of LMMs is closely tied to the proficiency of their underlying LLM, yet they enhance the overall performance of the base LLM by incorporating and leveraging additional modalities.
